Since Upfinning is my personal brand, it had to be a design I was completely thrilled with, and it had to be versatile. I've included some other materials that represent Upfinning, but the main part of this project is the website itself, which I built by hand.
Here's my old portfolio site. I built this one by hand as well, but at the time my web design skills were very limited. It looked decent on my desktop, but got weird at other sizes. The design was also not a good representation of my design aesthetic, even at the time.
One thing I enjoyed from my old website was the shark. Upfinning has the imagery of a fin sticking up. I kept that going by editing some sea-themed photos to use as backgrounds. I went with a more fashionable and sleek feel, moving away from my sketchy shark logo in favour of my new text-based one.
My main focus for the last while has been working on the website itself, so I haven't finished the other material yet. Next up on the list: my cover letter template, my business card, and my creative brief form. Stay tuned!
